Unless Mysterius does something amazing this issue, it just isn’t funny enough to keep getting regularly.
I wasn’t really happy with the way the first Project Superpowers ended and was totally underwhelmed by Black Terror. I didn’t read Death-Defying Devil, but Masquerade, however, has been pretty good. We’ll see how this issue grabs me.
As I said last week, I’m giving all the new Batman series a 2–3 issue trial run and pick the top few series to keep getting. So far, I liked Batman was the best, with Batman and Robin being a close second. I doubt I’ll get more than the first arc of Red Robin unless something awesome happens. SoG is by Dini and Nguyen who did some amazing work in Detective Comics leading up to “Final Crisis”.

I picked up Mysterius because it’s an otherwise short week. Don’t know if I’ll continue to get it or not.
Hopefully, Daniel has a satisfying conclusion to Cowl. It’s been mediocre at best so far.
Totally excited about Cap #50. No explanation needed.

Okay, Marvel, seriously… What’s up with that title on the Beta Ray Bill book?
I bought Salem’s Daughter in the hopes that it will suck. I haven’t lambasted anything on here in months.

Lillim was kind of an impulse buy, so we’ll see if we continue getting that one or not.
Mysterius has been so-so. I’m not really sold on it yet.
Wolverine and X-Factor look to be the stand-outs this week.

Short week…

Frankly, I wasn’t sure I was going to pick up Mysterius’s second issue, but when you’re only getting one other book that week, it helps it out a bit. After last month’s X-Factor twist, this issue is a definite read.
