Still kind of unsure about Moon Knight. It was an otherwise short week, so I decided to go ahead and get it.
Anywhere 101 says it’s the “premier issue”, so I’m assuming it’s either #1 or some kind of prequel. Either way, it was only a buck and looked somewhat interesting.
Anyone else notice Reborn went from being a five-issue limited series to six? See, if writers would get the script done beforehand, this sort of thing wouldn’t happen.

Nothing really to say this week. The various Pilot Season one-shots are hit and miss, and I usually at least try a few of the more interesting-looking ones out.

- Warlord #9
Is it just me, or are companies producing a lot of one-shots and limited series right now? Not that I’m necessarily complaining, mind you, since I’d rather they have a plan for a series (even if it’s a short one) than just meander for ten issues trying to figure out where they’re going with the story.
Spin Angels is kind of a weird one. The first two issues had an “of 3″ next to the issue number, #3 had no such indicator, and now #4 is out. It’s pretty good, but it’s going to be tough to maintain an ongoing series at $5.99 an issue.
Mike Grell is continuing on Warlord, so it looks like I’ll be getting it for the time being. I just finished up Showcase Presents: Warlord Vol. 1
and really enjoyed it. Mike Grell just writes a fun tale, no matter how potentially cliché it is. It’s too bad about the first six issues being boring as hell, though.
As much as I like Lobo, Highway to Hell #1 was kind of so-so. I hope it picks up in the second and final issue.
The new creative team takes over on Thor this month as well. pleaseletitbegood, pleaseletitbegood…

Still unsure about continuing Domino Lady, and I’m not real happy about Herc going up to $3.99. Queen Sonja was so-so, and I’m giving it another issue or two before I decide to cut it or not. Otherwise, pretty standard stuff for me.
