Boring as shit.  Pointless.  There really isn’t much more to say, other than I think Brian K. Vaughan’s going on my short list with Jeph Loeb and Warren Ellis.

Y: The Last Man — Unmanned TPB [2003]

With the last issue of the series having just been released, I figured it was high time to give this series a try. That’s what I did with Preacher, and with the exception of the last two issues of the series, it turned out pretty good. After reading Y, however, I’m left with a huge… yawn.

If this is supposed to be the best comic book on the market, then I really need to drop this hobby altogether. Seriously, could this be any more predictable? Who didn’t see the “big twist” with Yorick’s butch sister coming a mile away?

While we’re at it, let’s talk about Yorick. If this is, in fact, the last man on earth, and any new children born to this world have to come from his DNA, let’s just consider ending the race right here, right now.
